- Do you actually work in the city, or just the suburbs?
- Both. We work across Boston proper — Southie, JP, Dorchester, the South End, East Boston, Charlestown, Brighton and Allston — plus Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline and the towns north of the city. Parking and loading in a walk-up is our problem, not yours.
- I saved a pin. Can you build that exact thing?
- Usually yes, and it costs you nothing to ask. Send us the pin. We will tell you straight whether the look works in your room, what it takes to build it properly, and where the photo is hiding something — a lot of the showers on Pinterest are staged installs that were never waterproofed.
- How long does a bathroom actually take?
- A shower is typically 2 to 4 install days; a full bathroom 4 to 6; a backsplash 1 to 2; a floor 1 to 3. Those are working days for a two-person crew on a standard-complexity job — demolition and any plumbing or electrical that has to move add to it.
- What does it cost?
- We will not throw a per-square-foot number at you off a photo — the substrate under your tile decides more of the price than the tile does. Send photos and rough dimensions and you get a written quote, free, usually the same day.
- Do I have to buy the tile before you come out?
- No. If you are still deciding, our Tile Match Kit puts real samples in your hand for $25 — hand-delivered across Greater Boston, and your $25 comes back as $50 off your install.
